Enrollment Eligibility Requirements
The process of enrolling in our Children’s Project is as follows:
Your family must reside within DuPage or Kane counties, IL. The children we serve through this project are ages 3 – 11. All families looking to enroll a child(ren) must complete a referral form with an outside social service agency. These referrals can come from County caseworkers, school social workers, police department social service departments, and townships.
In order to be eligible for the Children’s Project, the family must meet income requirements, and provide proof of income which can include the following: paychecks, child support, and maintenance (alimony), unemployment and / or social security benefits.
Application Review Schedule
Our program is currently full; however we do have a waiting list. The review of pending applications and enrollment, if selected, will take place during the months of February, June and September. If selected, the families will be notified during these months to inform them their children are being enrolled and they will begin to receive services.
To apply, we encourage families to print out the Referral Form below and ask a social worker at your child's school to submit the refferal. If your family does not have any children enrolled in school, please contact your township or see the "CP Referral Guide" below for other agencies that may refer you.
