Dean, our Senior Citizen Project Coordinator called Patricia, a senior enrolled in the Senior Program to check on how she is doing. Every month Dean calls the seniors to converse with them and to find out if there is anything special they need. He also asks about their health, and what is going on in their life. In today's conversation he reminded Patricia she could come to pickup food at the center even though she receives a monthly grocery gift card. Patricia got so excited and was almost in tears. She told Dean, "For a company to call and check on a senior in your program is unbelievable." She gave Dean a list of items and he shopped for her. This afternoon Patricia came and picked up fresh produce, meat, eggs, paper products and non-perishables. Before she left Patricia said, "Thank You for all you do!" The happiness she experienced and the comfort Patricia feels knowing she will have meals to eat is all due to your incredible support.
