Today Nancy shared a story about a newly enrolled family to the Children's Project that I wanted you to hear. The mom came today to pick up fresh produce and important essentials such as shampoo and toothpaste for her and her only child. The mom works full time but after paying bills, she doesn't have any money left for extras. She told Nancy that her 10-year daughter received her first birthday box with toys, and she was very excited. They loved making the cake together and the tie dye balloons are so cool that her daughter will not take them down even though her birthday has passed.
