We are incredibly thankful to the Carol Stream Rotary club for purchasing a Northern Illinois Mobile Pantry to provide food to the community. The mobile pantry was in HSP's parking lot and these amazing volunteers stood outside in the cold and windy weather to serve 100 families. Families and seniors served through HSP's programs along with other neighbors in need received a large grocery package to make nutritious meals. Over 3,800 pounds of food was put into the cars in an hour and a half. The remaining food has already been distributed to families and seniors coming to HSP's center daily for help with groceries.
