We had quite an eventful day on Saturday! It rained non-stop through setup, distribution and take down. And I do mean NON-STOP rain and don't forget the winds too. But through it all our incredible volunteers stuck it out and they kept telling us how happy they were to be here to help the families.
On Saturday, through the support of our friends that gave toys, books, food and financial gifts over 160 families with more than 400 children received a grocery cart of nutritious groceries, fresh produce, toys, books and gift cards. In 6 hours families cars will filled and they left smiling!
We can't do this work without you. Thank you for being with us through the sun and the rain, together we bring happiness to kiddos, moms and dads!
