The Difference you Make

I want to give a huge shout out to everyone that has been giving in response to our letter, calls, and emails to provide nutritious groceries and essentials to seniors, children and their families. Through Giving DuPage days you made it possible to have your donations doubled through the matching gift from our friends at Science of Spirituality. It is only through your gifts that we can meet the growing demand for food, toilet paper, personal care, diapers and more.

When you give this is the difference you are making in people's lives.

Nancy took groceries out to a mother and after the items were placed in her car, she said, "Thank you for taking care of my family."

Annette, a senior explained to Dean and Nancy that she is getting ready for major surgery. She came to the center to see if we had any clear liquids and a few grocery items in preparation for her surgery. Annette said, "You are my lifeline. Thank you for making my life easier." Then she broke down in tears and hugged Dean and Nancy before she got into her car and drove away.

You make it possible to provide the essential items children and seniors need to survive. But you also give parents and the elderly, a shoulder to cry on, people to talk to when they are having a hard time, and the ability to be vulnerable without judgement. Click HERE to give.

Thank you for giving of yourself to provide a safe space for seniors, children and their families.
