WOW, our HSP friends are amazing! I asked for your help in donating school supplies for children in need and you gave the most incredible supplies. You have made children happy and relieved the stress parents are feeling as they can't afford to purchase these items for their kiddos.
In the last 9 days, you have made it possible for 446 children from preschool through 12th grade to receive brand new school supplies.
We will continue to hand out supplies through the month of August, into September and in the birthday boxes year round so the happiness will continue!
Thank you for everything you give to make children feel special and for parents to know their children matter.
Nancy was bringing the groceries and backpacks to the family's car she looked over and the two sons were standing by the carts we affectionately call the "treasure carts." These are carts with clothes, home goods, and other items that families can select. Nancy told the boys they could take whatever they wanted from the carts and they selected a beanie baby, wrapping paper and ribbon. The boys were picking up for their parents and the 18 year old son told her, "I don't know what we would do without you. You are a blessing."
You make people feel loved and give children what they need to do their very best in school. I am thankful for every one of you that gives of yourself so children can feel good about themselves and experience the joy of being a kid!
