I like to think of February as the month of love. Why limit it to just Valentine's day when we can celebrate all month long. I thought this year, I am picking four ways that you can share your loving support with seniors, children and families. Every week in February I will put forth another way, you can make a senior or child feel special while making a meaningful difference in their lives.
So here goes. Week one and your first option.
You can bring happiness to a senior by being a Secret Pal. There are 38 seniors in the Senior Citizen Project hoping for a special pal.
The best part is it is you can make a senior's day and give them something to look forward to. As a Secret Pal you provide a gift card of $5.00 - $25.00 a month. You can give or make a greeting card if that excites you. You are also welcome to drop off or mail the gift card on it's own.
Seniors are so thankful to receive a gift card so they can use it for basic needs such as their prescription, or a little treat they couldn't otherwise afford.
