Kristin Senne, Executive Director Receives Changemakers Award

I am excited to share with you that I was celebrated by the Marquardt School District 15 at their Changemakers Event which took place on Friday, March 21st. In the letter I received from Ms. Lucilla Davila, Marquardt School District 15 Superintendent of Schools she wrote the following:

"Your leadership and commitment to enhancing and servicing our community align perfectly with the values we aim to recognize. Our annual Changemakers event celebrates individuals who have made a significant impact in their community. Previous honorees have included individuals who have demonstrated courage, confidence, character, and curiosity in their pursuit of creating positive change. We believe your contributions to the DuPage community make you an ideal candidate for this recognition. Your presence would serve as an inspiration to our students, staff and parents highlighting the importance of community service and leadership. Thank you for your tireless efforts to make our community a better place."

Click here to view the Changemakers event on Facebook. There is wonderful music, dancing and speeches from myself and the Changemakers honorees.

It was wonderful to be in the company of the other two adults who received Changemakers awards, Chief George Pappas and Emiliano Garcia. There were also three Student Changemakers awards handed out to children that exhibited changemaker qualities and are making a difference in their community.

I want to extend a HUGE thank you to Lucilla Davila, Mike Szopinski, the MSD15 Board of Education, the many incredible sponsors of the event, the Principals, Assistant Principals, musicians, dancers and all the amazing staff and volunteers that made this night such a tremendous experience.

I was thrilled to have my family, along with HSP's Co-Founder / CFO Floyd Kettering and some of the HSP incredible staff with me to celebrate the evening.

For those of you that do not have Facebook, but would like to read what I had to say, please email me at dir@hsp.agency and I am happy to send you my speech. I shared the history of HSP, the impact in the community, my personal journey with HSP, what drives me to serve, my vision for the community and my advice for future changemakers.

I will close out this newsletter with an excerpt from my speech "It is an honor to be able to advocate for children, families and seniors and to connect with the many loving people who want to help. To be able to share with the community what the needs are and to meet the many extraordinary people who give to make sure people receive the help they are asking for."

I share my award with all of you that make this loving work possible!

Yours in Love and Service,

Kristin Senne
Executive Director
