Crane Charitable Funds
We were honored to receive a donation from the Crane Charitable Funds. What makes this donation so special is that a Crane Composites associate, Kate (on left) recommended our organization and feels passionate about our mission. Kate's, Aunt Diana (on right) volunteers in our pantry every week preparing bags of food for families and children. The Crane Charitable funds touch the lives of many through its efforts to support issues around food insecurity, any many other worthy causes.

We were greeted by our amazing friends at Essendant this week with a donation. The Essendant Charitable Foundation awarded a grant, as directed by the Carol Stream Council to support HSP's mission and work. The Board wrote a beautiful letter and extended their best wishes for the success of our programs. We are incredibly thankful for their support which provides meals and essentials to low-income children and seniors.

Science of Spirituality
I was thrilled to visit with Jonathan from the Science of Spirituality (SOS) earlier this week. The wonderful SOS members provided a matching gift to those that gave to Giving DuPage Days in May. Families and seniors are coming to the HSP center daily to pick up nutritious produce and important items such as toothpaste and toilet paper which their donation helps provide.
